NFTs
THE FUTURE IS NEAR
Why everything about NFTs is so important to know
Last year I started creating NFTs on Mintbase.
I am simply thrilled by the possibilities that NFTs and their trade open up, especially after Mintbase transferred their complete platform from Ethereum (yeah, one of these cryptocurrencies, actually the #2 after Bitcoin) to NEAR.
For those who are a bit into it, NEAR is a cryptocurrency, which is 100% carbon emission neutral and works only with renewable energy sources. And minting (meaning: uploading and certifying digital artwork to the NEARnet, so others can see and buy your work) is really cheap.
It's an El Dorado for artists and collectors of all kinds. The digital certification makes digital art unique. Very important also for art buyers and collectors: scarcity and certified uniqueness.
I feel very lucky to have been one of the first artists to join Mintbase. You should definitely have a look. If you would like to buy one of my NFTs but don't really know how to do it, feel free to contact me. I am happy to help.

Look around and support as many artists as you can.
NFT stands for “Non-Fungible Token.”
A non-fungible token is a digitally encrypted object that cannot be replaced. It is based on a stored string of characters that - in contrast to a fungible token - cannot be exchanged or copied. The technique is used, for example, to identify digital files such as memes or computer-generated artworks as individual items. The analogy in non-digital life for the NFT would be, for example, the Mona Lisa, which cannot be replaced because it only exists once, and for the Fungible Token, for example, a 10 Euro note that can be replaced at any time by another 10 Euro note.
